Blackened Chicken Alfredo

Creamy, cozy, and protein-forward.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz protein pasta
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Blackening Seasoning

  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Alfredo Sauce

  • 1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce

OR Homemade Alfredo (a favorite for my family)

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Steam broccoli for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Mix all blackening seasonings together.
  4. Coat chicken breasts evenly with seasoning.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Cook chicken 6–7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Rest chicken for 5 minutes, then slice.
  8. Warm Alfredo sauce in a saucepan.
  9. Toss pasta and broccoli with Alfredo sauce.
  10. Top with sliced chicken and serve.
