Honey Garlic Chicken Rice Bowls

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked rice (we prefer jasmine)
  • 1 head broccoli

Sauce

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Directions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in large skillet.
  4. Cook chicken 6-8 minutes until no longer pink.
  5. In bowl mix:
    • Honey
    • Soy sauce
    • Garlic
  6. Pour over chicken.
  7. Mix cornstarch and water.
  8. Add to skillet.
  9. Stir until sauce thickens.
  10. Steam broccoli.
  11. Serve chicken over rice with broccoli.
